Fixed Cylindrical Pin

Our fixed cylindrical pin is also called a spring pin or dowel pin. The outer diameter of a product is slightly larger than the hole. After pressing, it stays in place by its own elasticity or interference. It is easier to install than a regular cylindrical pin. You do not need a reamed hole with high accuracy. You can find it in car door hinges, engine intake pipes, motorcycle frame joints, and electric scooter controller cases. One of our clients makes electric scooter controllers. He needed to close two plastic shells. Screws cost too much and slowed assembly. We recommended our product. He just drilled holes and pressed the pins. The diameter of a product is normally 0.1 to 0.3mm larger than the hole. Press-in force can be adjusted from 20 to 50kgf based on your assembly. The pin ends have a chamfer for guiding. Length tolerance is within ±0.10mm. Hardness for carbon steel pins reaches HV400 or more so the surface does not scratch during pressing.
