Hollow End Rivets

Our hollow end rivets feature a hollow center, making them much lighter than solid rivets. Only a small force is needed to roll the end during installation, making them ideal for soft materials and weight-saving applications. These rivets are commonly used in car interior panels, brake pad back plates, leather goods, and plastic parts.

An electric bike seat manufacturer approached us. His seat contained foam and leather, and solid rivets were too heavy and crushed the foam during installation. We supplied our product: the hollow tube is light, and the roll force is minimal, allowing the foam to retain its shape. This customer reordered six times in one year and reported that our hollow end rivets reduced the seat weight by 15%.

Our cold heading process is mature, ensuring wall thickness uniformity within 0.05 mm. With 16 years of experience, our quality system is stable, and the defect rate is below 1 ppm.

Wall thickness of our hollow end rivets ranges from 0.3 mm (thin) to 1.5 mm (thick). Shear strength for steel parts is at least 450 MPa, and for aluminum parts, it is 200 MPa. Head formation is complete, with zero cracks.

We test each batch using an expansion test to ensure the rolled end does not crack. Core pin holding force meets national standards. An optical sorter automatically removes defective parts, ensuring that every hollow end rivet you receive is of high quality.

• Minimum order quantity: For stocked items, there is no strict MOQ, and small samples can be provided. For custom parts, the quantity is discussed based on tooling and material costs.
• Free samples: Common stock samples are free; you only pay shipping. Custom parts require a tooling fee, which can be deducted from your first mass order.
• Fast reorders: After the first custom order, the tool and process are established, so subsequent reorders do not require new tools or samples. Production starts immediately, and delivery time is significantly shorter.

We reserve production capacity for large customers and have long-term cooperation with SAIC, Dongfeng, and Great Wall Motors. Their strict delivery requirements have never been an issue for us.
