Knurled Spline Rivet

Our knurled spline rivet features either a diamond or straight knurl on its surface. This design increases friction between the pin and the mounting hole, ensuring that once pressed in, the rivet will not loosen or back out. It is widely used where interference fit is required, such as car pedal pivots, farm machine joints, power tool handles, and furniture hardware. One of our clients manufactures construction machine pedals. Their pedal shafts would move sideways after some use, causing operators to feel a loose pedal. We supplied them with a product. Once pressed into the bracket hole, it bit firmly into the wall, passing 50,000 pedal cycles with zero movement. Today, this client uses our knurled spline rivet as the standard part for their pedals.

Our factory is equipped with cold heading machines, thread rolling machines, centerless grinders, and optical sorters. The optical sorter automatically detects surface defects. Daily output can reach 1.5 million pieces. The diameter of our products ranges from φ3 to 10 mm, and lengths from 4 to 40 mm. Materials include 10B21, ML08AL, 35# steel, 45# steel, SUS304, SUS430, and more. Surface finishes include zinc, nickel, chrome, Dacromet, phosphating, passivation, and blackening. Knurl types can be straight or diamond, with a typical knurl pitch of 0.5 to 1.2 mm. Retention force after pressing is not less than 300 MPa. Both ends can be chamfered or have round heads for easy assembly. Hardness ranges from HRC22–32 for standard applications, and HRC32–39 for higher-strength requirements.

Do we accept third-party inspections? Yes. Clients may send any inspection company to our factory. We allow pre-production, in-process, and pre-shipment inspections. Do we perform 100% inspection before packing? For standard items, we rely on routine process checks and final sampling. For high-end or special orders, we perform full 100% inspection before packing. What if goods arrive damaged? Simply send us photos and delivery proof. We will investigate the cause and provide free replacements or a full refund. All losses are covered by us. Do we offer discounts for large orders? Yes. The larger the order, the lower the unit price. Long-term repeat clients receive special cooperation pricing.
