Cold Heading Parts

Cold Heading Parts

Cold-headed parts are made at room temperature. We put metal wire into a mold and then press it with huge force. This makes the metal dense and strong, with much higher strength than machined parts. There is almost no waste. cold heading parts are commonly used in brake pistons, valve spring seats, bearing rollers, and hydraulic fittings.

Strong Parts from a Smart Process

Cold-headed parts are made at room temperature. We put metal wire into a mold and then press it with huge force. This makes the metal dense and strong, with much higher strength than machined parts. There is almost no waste. cold heading parts are commonly used in brake pistons, valve spring seats, bearing rollers, and hydraulic fittings.

One customer produced pneumatic fittings and used to machine them, which caused 30% material waste and frequent thread breakage. We switched him to cold heading parts. Material utilization increased to 95%, strength doubled, and he never experienced broken parts again.

Our machines have multiple stations, allowing us to form heads, reduce diameters, chamfer, and punch holes in a single operation.

Quality Control You Can Trust

How do we control quality? We check everything from raw wire to finished parts. Incoming materials are tested for hardness and size. During production, we conduct regular patrol checks at each step. Molds are inspected and replaced on schedule. Finished parts undergo a full inspection.

Do you allow third-party inspections? Yes. You can send any inspection company to our factory. We welcome pre-production, in-production, and pre-shipment checks. Our workshop and records are fully open.

What is your monthly capacity? We have ample capacity and a flexible schedule. We can handle large orders as well as regular repeat orders with ease.

Wide Use and One-Stop Service

Where are cold heading parts used? They are found in cars, construction machines, trains, new energy equipment, general machinery, power devices, medical tools, and electronics. We have supplied SAIC, FAW, and Dongfeng for many years.

Can you perform additional machining after cold heading? Yes. We also provide heat treatment and surface finishing, all done in our factory to maintain quality control. Our defect rate is below 1 ppm. Every cold-headed part is made to last.
