Rust Proof Fasteners

Our rust proof fasteners are made for wet, salty, and acidic places. They come in 304 or 316 stainless steel. 316 stainless has molybdenum added. This makes it much better against pitting corrosion. Salt spray can go over 240 hours with no red rust. You can find our product on coastal equipment, boat parts, chemical plant pipes, outdoor power gear, and food machinery. One of our customers builds wind turbines near the sea. The sea salt environment made his zinc-plated bolts rust in three months. We gave him 316 stainless steel rust proof fasteners. Two years later, the bolts had only light discoloration. No red rust. Now he uses our 316 parts on all his offshore projects.

Our cold heading process for stainless steel is mature. Stainless is strong and hardens fast. Our tools have special coatings to last longer and keep good precision. Our rust proof fasteners meet GB/T 3098.6-2023 and GB/T 10127. For 304 stainless, salt spray is at least 240 hours. For coated carbon steel, it is at least 200 hours. Pitting potential in neutral environment is at least 300mV. Tensile strength for stainless fasteners is at least 520MPa. Working temperature range is -40℃ to 150℃ with no drop in performance. We make bolts, nuts, washers, and rivets. Surface finish can be passivation, electro-polishing, or natural. Passivation creates a dense oxide film for better corrosion resistance. We run salt spray tests every quarter. We also do pitting potential tests with an electrochemical workstation.
