Non Standard Fasteners

Our non standard fasteners are made just for you. You provide us with a drawing or an idea, and we turn it into a real part. Standard catalogs do not include these parts. You might need a special head shape, a unique slot, or a non-standard thread-we can make it. One customer built racing cars and needed a five-sided bolt head for faster wheel changes. Standard bolts did not have this shape. We made a mold and formed the head in one step, then heat-treated it to grade 12.9. This allowed the customer to cut his pit stop time by two seconds. Our team is experienced in cold forming, special materials, and heat treatment. Complex shapes are not a problem. Just share your idea with us.

Our non standard fasteners meet high strength grades. Common grades are 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9. We conduct wedge load tests to ensure the bolt breaks in the shank, not under the head. Shank straightness is within 0.05 mm, and head perpendicularity is within 0.04 mm. Hardness ranges are as follows: grade 8.8, HRC 22–32; grade 10.9, HRC 32–39; grade 12.9, HRC 39–44. Zinc plating provides 48 hours of salt spray resistance, and outdoor types provide 72 hours. We also perform metallurgical checks for cracks and folds.

Do we have our own R&D team? Yes. We have a process development and quality department specializing in forming, heat treatment, and surface finishing. We can handle custom orders and special materials. Can we make parts from your drawing? Yes. You send us a drawing, sample, or prototype. We evaluate the process, make the mold, and run samples. After your approval, we proceed with full production. How long does it take for a custom sample? Standard samples usually take one month, while complex shapes require two to three months. Do we offer free samples? Yes, for standard stock parts. For custom non standard fasteners, we charge a mold fee, which is deducted from later bulk orders.
