Semi-tubular Rivet

Our semi-tubular rivet has a solid head and a hollow tail. This design gives you the strength of a solid rivet and the easy installation of a hollow one. The solid head takes high shear forces. The hollow tail rolls into a strong lock. You find these rivets in car door lock mechanisms, motorcycle brake pads, farm tool blades, and power tool switches. A garden shear maker came to us. Hollow depth of our semi-tubular rivet can be made to your request. Common depth is 1.5 to 2 times the diameter. After rolling, the outer diameter is 1.2 to 1.5 times larger than the shaft. We follow auto industry standard QC/T 518-2017. Preload loss is less than 10%. Fatigue test exceeds 1.2 million cycles. Our salt spray test is strict. Stainless steel parts last over 240 hours. Coated carbon steel parts last over 200 hours. Rust is not a problem. We also check hardness per batch. It stays between HV220 and 280. This is the best range for use.
