Unusual Screw Heads

The Set Screw has no head or a very small head. It is threaded into a hole and presses against another part to lock it in place. unusual screw headss are commonly used in car wheel bearings, drive shafts, gearboxes, and machine tool holders. A CNC machine tool client faced a problem: his tool holder required frequent tool changes, and normal screws forced repositioning each time. We replaced them with our unusual screw heads. Tighten it, and the tool stays fixed; loosen it, and the tool can be changed without resetting the position. This improved his tool change efficiency by 50%. Diameters range from φ2 to 10 mm, with lengths from 4 to 40 mm. Materials include 10B21, 35#, 45# steel, SUS304, and SUS430. Surface finishes include zinc, nickel, chrome, Dacromet, phosphate, passivation, and black oxide. The unusual screw heads is available with various head types: hex socket, slotted, and Torx. Tip options include:

Thread precision is 6g, with full and clean crests. Head breaking torque is 1.2 times the standard value. Hardness for grade 10.9 screws is HRC 32–39. Burrs or missing material are eliminated, and edges have a small chamfer of R0.1–0.3 mm. Torque and hardness are tested for every batch.
