Phil Pan Head Screw

The phil pan head screw has a round, flat top. It sits higher than a countersunk screw but lower than a round-head screw. The wide head spreads pressure over a large area, preventing cracks in plastic and thin metal parts. A car door panel manufacturer faced a problem: their plastic panels cracked when using countersunk screws. They switched to our phil pan head screw. Diameters range from φ2 to 10 mm, with lengths from 4 to 40 mm. Materials include 10B21, 35#, 45# steel, SUS304, and SUS430. The pan head diameter is 1.5 to 2 times the thread diameter, and the head height is 0.3 to 0.4 times the head diameter. Cross-recess depth and width follow national standards. Thread tolerance is 6g, and all screws are 100% checked with go/no-go gauges. Every screw drives smoothly. For grade 8.8 screws, tensile strength is at least 800 MPa, yield strength at least 640 MPa, and hardness HRC 22–32. Daily salt spray tests and wedge load tests ensure the screw head stays intact. Breakage occurs only on the thread, never the head.
